Description
Air fryer mac and cheese is the fastest way to enjoy rich, creamy comfort food with a golden crust. Simple ingredients, minimal prep, and ready in under 20 minutes!
Ingredients
1 cup elbow macaroni, cooked
1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: breadcrumbs or fresh herbs for topping
Instructions
1. Boil pasta just until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in milk, garlic powder, mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir in cheeses until smooth.
3. Mix cooked pasta with sauce and spoon into oven-safe ramekin. Top with extra cheese or breadcrumbs.
4. Place ramekin in air fryer at 375°F for 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbling.
5. Serve hot with garnish of herbs, if desired.
Notes
For extra spice, add jalapeño cheddar or a pinch of cayenne.
Use mini cast iron skillets for party-size servings.
